Hi, I have a query on early termination of tenancy agreement. My current agreement is for one year and I have stayed for 4 months plus. The recent for early termination is because my sister quit and will return to Malaysia. There is no termination clause in our agreement. Will we be able to terminate this legally? If we stop paying rent, will it be the case that the owner can chase us out or will we be liable to be sued? The reason for finding a solution is because the owner was not responsive to our proposed solutions such as find new tenants. Can you advise us? Thank you.
