Hi, I have a fren who wish to sell his new condo (TOP next year). I'm keen to buy his unit (I currently serving HDB 5Y MOP). Is there any possible way for me to LEGALLY buy his unit, say after my MOP is up? thanks

Afternoon,

Once you have fulfilled your MOP, you will be eligible to purchase your friend's condo unit. But do note that if you are PR, you are required to sell away your HDB unit within 6 months from key collection.

Yes, of course you could purchase another property once you have fulfilled the MOP. But do note of the 2nd loan eligibility as well as the ABSD. Cheers!
