Hi,
I have a 2 BHK condo in Melville Park. I am planning to upgrade to a 3BHK in the same condo.
1) is it a good idea to do that?
2) if yes what are the additional costs which i will incur since i am buying a 3BHK?
3) what is the average selling price of a 3BHK?
please guide

If you need the extra space and you love Melville Park so much that you will not consider other options, then I would say yes, it's a good idea for you.

The difference in pricing for a 2BR and 3BR is about $100k-$150k. The standard legal conveyancing fees and stamp duties apply.

Also, take note that if you purchase first, you will have to set aside some funds for ABSD. If you are purchasing it as a matrimonial home, you can claim back this ABSD after you sell your 2BR.
