Hi there, thanks for your question. You are certainly able to sell your existing Executive maisonette to fund the purchase of a “shelter”. However, you do not mention what type of dwelling you intend to buy and in whose name the new property will be held. If it is an HDB property, they would need to meet the HDB eligibility criteria.

This will be a viable option since your HDB may not much upside anymore and by selling the HDB, you will be able to use the funds to invest with your sons in a property which may have better upside potential.
