Under the current ruling, you will have to dispose off your private property within 6 months once you have purchased a HDB.
If you are still at the prime of your earning power, may I suggest that you do an upgrade and continue to grow your assets and wealth instead of buying a HDB flat as the upside potential of HDB flat is limited.
