Hi

I am subletting a common room to a tenant. If the tenant only move in the mid of month should I prorate tenant for the first month rental ? What's the procedure?

Pro-rate the monthly rental , depending the number of days for that month , eg - june - there is 30 days , monthly rental / 30 = daily rental , multiple the days they move in . Hope that answers your queries .
