hi , i am SPR , currently i am getting salary around s$4000 . i like to check whether i am able apply for a housing loan for buying a condo.currently i have 55k in cpf & currently i hold 25k personal loan. is that possible to get the a housing loan. how much i can get loan ?. is their any condo property with low cost where i can move in once i buy?what will be the low cost price of the condo? any projects available?

Hi,

As an SPR, you will be liable to pay 5% ABSD for your first purchase, and with your outstanding $25k loan, it will greatly affect your TDSR, which is your ability to loan.

So, based on your above scenario, it will be hard for you to purchase a private condo, unless you're planning to take little loan and can pay upfront cash.

Nevertheless, do speak to a banker to ascertain your loan amount first before we take the next step forward.
