Hi, I am looking to buy a resale condo of 3 bedroom with 950 ~ 1000 sqft. My budget is $900k. Which areas should I target? My office location is at Bishan, so I am looking which is closer to Bishan. Can I target for Hougang, Buangkok, Yio Cho kang, Khatib?

Glad to hear that your office is in Bishan as I personally stays in Bishan as well. There should also be other factors that affects your decision to where your new place should be. Things like your purpose in buying, whether is it investment or purely own stay, your other family members staying in the house and of course.

Hi Vijay,

Bishan is a good area to stay in. Personally I stay in Bishan for 20 yrs ever since Bishan was first started. Have also transacted many units in Bishan, HDB and condo.

Honestly, $900K for 3-BRs at Bishan is very tough and near impossible. Currently I have a very spacious unit, 1346 sq. ft. at Bishan Park Condo. High floor and pool view. Owner is selling at $120K below value at $1.13M. Bank indication $1.25M. She is a serious seller and I believe at $1.0XM, I can still talk to her to sell. If you are able to increase your budget to $1.0XM, I will definitely do my best to get that unit for you. Viewing anytime if you are available.
