Hi, I am looking for 2 bed room condo. looking for new project with TOP around 2018. Can I get flexible payment as per the construction stage? I am still foreigner but would like to get PR status after 1 year. Do I need to pay for stamp duty at the beginning or just before TOP? my budget is 700 - 800K. thanks

Good evening Ajeet! Do take note that additional buyer's stamp duty of 15% (due to your foreigner status) is payable when you exercise the option within 8 to 9 weeks from booking date/ OTP issue date. Maybe how much cash do you have on hand for the 20% downpayment, estimated 3% buyer's stamp duty and 15% ABSD? For a $800k property, you need around $304k cash. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers! Hi Mr. Ajeet, basing on your budget I suggest you go for new launches. Payment are now all in progressive structure. Stamp duty for foreigner is 15% and payable 8-10 weeks upon booking a unit. Please send me your email address via email, so I can send you the upcoming new launches at Tampines. The prices might suit to your budget.
