Hi,

Sorry to hear about your loss, I hope you are managing well. It depends on her will (if any) drafted. Otherwise her estate will be distributed according to intestate succession act.

If you were chosen to take over according to her will, to be able to take over her flat you also need to be eligible under one of the hdb schemes available on hdb website. If you have private property overseas you also need to dispose them before you can take over. All these will also be subjected to hdb approval case by case basis.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Warm Regards,

Afternoon,

Firstly, you will need to know if your late mother had prepared any WILL. If so, I'm afraid you will have to handle the estate based on it.
Secondly, if there's no WILL, you will need to consult with your siblings to ensure that they have no objections with you buying over the estate.
Lastly, if you have any property under your name, you will be required to remove the ownership status within 6 months from owning the HDB unit.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi,

I wish to express my condolences to you and your family.

As for your mother's HDB, does she has a Will drafted? If yes, the distribution of her assets (including HDB) will be in accordance to the Will. If not, it will be distributed in accordance to the Intestate Succession Act.

I have personally handled such cases, and will be happy to assist you. Please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  , let's take our discussion further.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
