Hi Mr Lim, In all honesty, the threshold for noise tolerance differs between every individual. I do not deny there are ongoing works but these will not be permanent. It makes no sense for any sellers to engage a salesperson if all they are looking for is to sell at a low price. 1 of my colleague's client once mentioned that if he were to sell low, he might as well employ anyone on the street to open and close door for the prospective buyer and pay him $5/hr. Should you be seriously considering a unit in this development but have concerns over noises, i would strongly encourage you to make an appointment to view some of the suitable units out in the market and judge for yourself and your family how these are going to affect you. Price wise, I would say do not try to shortchange the seller but do not over commit on your financial resources. Offer what is the best price you value for the property within your means for a unit you like and allow the salesperson to work on the deal.
