Please be mindful that you will be subject to additional buyer's stamp duty of 10% of the purchase price on top of the normal 3% buyer's stamp duty.

Hi Amit,

you can buy condominiums in Singapore. Singapore is a safe property haven and prices rise steadily even after the cooling measures. One of the safest places to consider in Asia. Do message me your email, I will email you all new launches in Singapore. The good thing about new launches is that you buy at Developer's price, which is the lowest price, and the payment is normal progressive payment, which is not so tight in the finance side. Normally 2-3 years to take the key, and you can rent it out or sell after that ( subject to Seller's Stamp Duty which varies in amount depending on which year you sell. If you sell after the 4th year from the day you exercise the option, then there is no stamp duty payable.)

Hi Amit, yes you can buy a private property in Singapore but there will be ABSD (Addition Buyer Stamp Duty) for foreign buyers on top of the normal Stamp Duty.

It is also advisable for you to check with your banker with regards to loan issues unless you are paying in full for the property.
