Hi, I am currently staying in a EC ( more than ten years so already privatised ), If I am going to buy a private condo/apartment, do I need to sell away my current EC?

Hi Steve,

After 10yrs, you no longer subjected to HDB ruling since its Privatised.

Next to consider will be financial plan. If you are still servicing any mortgage loan, the next loan will be max 60% from bank.

No need to sell your current EC. You can buy a private condo and then rent out your EC for passive income.
