Hi. I am currently residing in a HDB 4 room type A unit in district 14. What is the best way for me to upgrade to a 2-bedroom EC/Condo without me having to worry to come out cash for the downpayment? Should I be looking for one that is going to TOP soon and sell my current unit to offset the downpayment? What are my options? Profile: 35yo single male staying with parents, current HDB unit own by my parents and myself with outstanding 100k loan.

Good afternoon! Maybe let me work on your financial plan based on your current unit and finances on hand. FYI not many EC that are going to TOP soon has balance units. Nevertheless do get in touch with me so I can further advise you. Cheers! Evening, Since the HDB is co-owned by your parents and you, all parties must agree to selling and ink the OTP to allow the sales to go through. Depending on your location and sizing, your unit should fetch around $490k to $630k. I would need to know more about your financial standing before I can advice on anything worthy. Do feel free to contact me for further discussion. Regards Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
