Hi! I am considering to buy an apartment or condo as our 1st home in Singapore. I understand that besides the 20% dp, I will need to prepare payments for other fees such as legal, stamp duty & maybe, agent's fee. Pls correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what I've researched so far, legal fee can be subsidized by the bank (as part of their home loan package). Is it true that other developers can provide stamp duty rebates? How does this work? What circumstances do I need to pay for agent's fee if I'm buying a pte property? If the TOP is on 2014, when do I start paying my monthly installments & when can I possibly occupy the unit? Thank you!
