Hi, I am confused about the difference of a townhouse and cluster house. Let's assume it is a strata titled terrace, so can foreigner buy such property? I found that some of these tearraces are cheaper than some same size condominiums. Just wondering what are the disadvantages of strate titled terrace, besides the foreigners' eligibility to buy?

Hi Dorothy,

I believe the more important thing will be how comfortable or suitable is the unit for you. Most cluster houses or townhouses are not eligible for foreigners to purchase, unless they are of condominium status. If you are keen to explore into these properties, perhaps you may wish to furnish me with information about your requirements and the price range you are working on.
