I am completing my MOP in Feb next year and I am now considering to upgrade to a condo.
I am thinking of an EC which is more affordable but the downside is that I need to sell my HDB and I can't invest in private property for 5 years. I will also have to wait another 3 years before I can move into the EC.
Is it possible that I form a company to buy a condo and rent it to myself first while waiting for the EC TOP?
After TOP, I will move into my EC and rent out my condo. Though I have to sell my HDB, at least I have a second property for investment without waiting for 5 years.
Please advise if this is possible or is there a better suggestion for me?
