Hi,

Yes once your EP pass is approved, you can enter into a tenancy contract. Probably 1 week all paperwork can be done, but the house hunt will take longer. Most landlords are ok with family visits as long as its informed in advance. May I know your budget and working location? I do have a hdb unit near Kallang MRT / CBD area available for rent.

Good morning,

Once your in-principle of approval on the employment pass, you can start to hunt for suitable unit. On the concern of having a place to accommodate your family during their visit, you can inform the landlord prior. As long as they have a valid social visit pass, it should not be of an issue.
