Hi I am a SPR, my wife and two sons also SPR and we own HDB flat (bought through resale). We are planning to buy private property, should I need to sell HDB? Can I rent my HDB property?

Hi Mr Sundar, you can purchase an private property but SPR are not allowed to sublet their flats.
Which leaves you with the option to sell your current property and purchase the private of your preference.

Afternoon Sundara,

Under the current ruling, PR HDB owners are eligible to purchase private property upon fulfilling the MOP requirement. However, they are required to sell away their HDB unit within 6 months from collection of keys.
