Hi I am a SPR and wish to buy HDB resale flat. But I have a private property in my country with a joint ownership since ours is a joint family. In this case since the property is not own completely by me and there are partners, can I appeal HDB to allow me to keep my private property? What are the chances that HDB will approve it? Pleas advise.

Hi Srijosh,

We are not the panel of officers from HDB therefore we will not know what your chances of appeal is. I can only say it is 50-50 chance since if it's either approve or reject. What I do know is if you never try, it will be sure no way for you purchase.
