Hi I am a pty property owner, currently taking a short break from work and thus would like to personally market my property for rental. Please advise how much commission do I would need to pay to the agent who bring in successful tenant? Does the commission take into consideration the advertising costs incurred by me & not by the agent?

Hi Jessica,

Standard market practice for commission will be 0.5months rental amount on the final rental amount for 1 year lease & 1 month for 2 years lease so on & so forth.

As for advertising by yourself, you will have to bear for it.
