Hi,

I am a PR who finally decided to buy my own house. I am currently 22 y.o. Can any of you give me a detailed payment list if I would like to purchase a condo which cost around 1.2 million? I remember an agent told me that it was smtg like 5% immediately then 10% in 2 weeks time or smtg like that? And the possible mortgage payments? My parents want to pay around 1k-3k monthly installment after the downpayment. I would also like to know the additional charges such as the notary, stamp fee etc.

Also, is it possible to use OCBC indonesia as the mortgage bank? I am still a student but my parents want the house to be under my name (even though they will the one paying). Is it possible?

Hello,

Assuming you and the seller agree on a deal now,
=> 1% cheque immediate (Seller issues Option To Purchase)
=> 4% within 2 weeks (exercise of Option To Purchase)
=> 15% within 8 to 12 weeks (Completion of Sale/Purchase)
=> 80% will be disbursed by the bank (assuming you qualify for 80% loan)

Assuming you take a 80% bank loan for 30 years for a $1.2m property, the estimated monthly instalments (depending on interest rates) will roughly be around $3.3k.
