Hi, I am a foreigner looking to investing in private property in Singapore.
Can any kind soul here shed some light on what I should know as a foreinger looking to invest in the property market here?
1) Am I allowed to purchase and if yes any limit on how many private properties I can purchase in Singapore?
2) Any legal issues I need to take note? Like Stamp duty, property tax,Personal income tax
3) I understand as a foreigner there are some legal issues I might need to settle - is it necessary to engage a local lawyer for this or will engaging a qualified salesperson will do?
4)Can someone provide me with the appropriate steps I need to take before I invest in Singapore's property especially the legal issues?
