Hi guys, My parents have a condo(Fully Paid) in the West. We are loooking towards buying a resale HDB flat. Will it be possible to transfer the full ownership of the Condo to my Mum and purchase the HDB flat solely under my Dad's name thus avoiding ABSD and the 6 month disposal period for our Condo. Option 2 will be to transfer the condo solely to my name(>21) and use both my parents name to purchase the HDB. Thanks

Hi, As your parents are a married couple thus they have to purchase the resale HDB under one entity thus option 1 is out of the question. It seems like you are left with option 2. Hope it helps! Morning, Option 1 is out as your parents are considered as an entity. Therefore, to purchase HDB unit under your father and your name is not feasible. However, to transfer the private property ownership to you and utilize their names to purchase HDB unit would be possible. This is only applicable for resale unit.
