Hi Careful,

If you already have a place to stay, to maximise your investment, and basing on your current financial situation, would be better you go for a 1-BR unit. It is easier to rent out as well. Any investment of 3.5% rental yield is considered as very good.

Bear in mind that if you going for new launches, you got to wait for at least 3 yrs to TOP. During these 3 yrs, you will have to continue serving monthly installment, though is not at a high amt. initially as it is progressive payment.

You may want to look at buying with tenancy or sub-sales unit with TOP next year. This would gives you a shorter time to realize your rental gain.
