Hi Guru,

wanted to ask is it a legally binding rental agreement if the Landlord issues me a Letter of Offer with the standard terms and conditions attached and I am supposed to sign the Acceptance of Offer letter. There is no Tenancy Agreement as the lease details are in the Letter of Offer and the terms and conditions are attached. In addition, there is no need for witnesses to sign on the Acceptance of Offer. I know this is not the usual practice, but will there be any implications if I accepted the offer letter and will this agreement be legally binding if I paid stamp duty for it? Thanks for the help!

Hi Sam

As long as you have read and understand the terms and both of you have signed it. And most important part is the stamping of the TA
It becomes a legal document.

Anything more please contant me . Will be happy to hear from you
