Hi Guru, Me and my Wife are Singapore PRs, I was transferred to USA about 9 months ago, now we are looking to buy a 3 Bedroom condo in Singapore, My employer is still contributing my CPF in Singapore. Will banks offer me a loan ? Looking for new property whose TOP is 2017.

Good morning buyer,

As long as you have income, you should not have any issue obtaining loan from banks in Singapore.

Maybe let me ask my banker to advise you on your in principle approval?

Btw do take note that you will be subject to 5% additional buyer's stamp duty as SPR.

Lastly do share with me your preferred location and requirements so I will be in a better position to advise you.

Hi, yes it is possible. As long as you have pay slip and document to show which you could even be working overseas, the local bank would still be able to grant you a loan.

Hi,

As long as you have income and the necessary documents to show that you are with your employer, bank loan shouldn't be an issue. May I get my banking contacts to get in touch with you to assist with an in-principle approval loan?

Please also note that SPR first purchase, stamp duties of 8% is payable. Also may I understand your requirements so to further value-add? Which location will you be more keen on? Thanks and hope to discuss further.
