Hi,
First of all, do not trust reports from the banks or investment firms. I got reports from both end of the segment and both sides are considered as a reputable analyst company. One of which says Singapore market fundamentals will pull through and another says that stagflation will occur and
Singapore being externally dependent will be strongly hit. All this are what we term intellectual talk. Trust only your own research. :)
This is what i do for my clients mostly.
- figure out an area of interest in Singapore (one, from your research that has the highest potential/low risk/high cash flow)
- Pin point a few properties to focus on
- pull out past performance results
- monitor the units on sale (you need an agent to do this)
- determine your entry price
- buy when see the right units on sale (agents help again)
With the past performance in hand, you would have covered your risk and your cash flow and potential would have been covered by your research.
Cheers!
