Hi Guru, I have a situation. I am going through a divorce. Would it be wise to do a part sale and buy over the share from my ex-spouse but the problem is my new spouse is a msian. Or will it be better to let go of my current place and buy another resale flat?

May I also check if I will be eligible for living new parent grant again some people have been saying that under the new scheme i will enjoy the grant.

My current home details:
5 - room resale
bought with cpf grants (first timer and living near parent).

Afternoon,

If you are SC above the age of 35, you can perform part purchase under single scheme. But you would have to calculate the total cost as you have contributed for the unit from the start of purchase.

Do feel free to contact me further discussion.

Eligibility aside, your spouse's expectations should also be managed since the potential true market value could be higher than the value you are expecting to pay in order to buy over her share.

Hi...

But from what I see from your posting, you are living a new life again, thus it will be better to live in a new place new location with your new partner.
It seem like your divorce is currently in the process, if so, you will need to wait for your final judgment to be out first before you can sell your flat.
You ask if you are eligible for the new parent grant again, what type of grant is that? Near parent grant is it?
Anythings else that you might need to check, can just give me a call anytime.

Thanks and Regards,
