Hi Guru, I and my kid is SC and wife is SPR,applied for BTO(Joint owner),getting keys in 2018, can we buy private property provided If I decouple my wife’s name from BTO and what is the procedure to decouple her name. What is best option to buy private property, considering want to keep HDB?

Afternoon,

Do note that you are required to form family nucleus in order to be eligible for BTO application. Hence the intention of getting another private property would mean that you have to divorce with your spouse and appeal to HDB to keep the unit with the custody of your child.
