Asked by
Hi guru,
I am single and above 35 years old. I am currently living with my parents but planning to buy a flat.

Question:
My parents are the owners of the current flat we live in. Can I still list them as the occupants of the flat I am buying to qualify for the higher tier single grant?

Question2:
Can a single qualify for both single grant and higher tier single grant which come up to a total of 35k? Or a single can only qualify for one of the two?

Thanks!!

Regards,
Ck

Afternoon CK,

You are only entitled for one of the grant: single of $15k or extended of $20k. You must be single SC to be eligible for single grant. For higher tier grant, your parents are required to sell off their HDB unit 6 months from key collection of your unit.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
