Hi Guru, I am an Indian National and have been residing in SIngapore from past couple of years. I owned a Condo unit. I am leaving S'pore and need to rent out my Condo unit. I would like to appoint my friend who stays in same Condo as a caretaker of my unit, and can sign on my behalf, during renting or selling. How should I appoint him as caretaker? What are the ways? Appreciate your prompt guidance and assistance.

Good afternoon Yogesh, you can appoint your friend as your power of attorney at law firm to empower him the legal ability to represent you in your property affairs. If you need any recommendation of law firm or assistance in your property needs, feel free to contact me. Cheers! YT Tan ECG Property 9111 5171  yt.lovelyhomes@gmail.com Read More

Evening Yugesh, You can appoint your friend as your power of attorney. This would allow him to assist you in signing the TA during your absence. You can also request him to look into the standard maintenance of your unit. The power of attorney can be drafted with a lawyer, with the presence of yourself and the Attornery. Do feel free to contact me for further discussion. Regards Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
