Hi Guru,

Current am stay 5room flat at tampines I has been staying here more than 13years and is fully paid.

If I am buying a private apartment, can i apply from hdb for whole unit to rent out my this unit and I stay at private apartment?

Afternoon Alvin,

If you are SC, you are eligible to apply for rental of entire unit out. However, the approval period may varies depending on your tenant's profile. With this, you will then be able to stay in your private property and leverage on the rental income.

Hi Alvin,

Recent regulations indicate that only Singapore citizens have the privilege of renting out their HDB which has already met the MOP, subjected to approval based on the tenants' profile. Perhaps I can recommend you a few units for your intended purchase?
