Dear sir/madam, I must stress that it is a usual practise for salesperson to charge 2% of the selling price as service fees for selling and 1% of the purchasing price as services fees for purchasing in HDB resale market context. There are of course situations where the salespersons are being paid more and less. All service fees must be agreed between the salespersons and their clients, and I must say that deciding on which salesperson to engage based on the service fees the quote will be a very short sighted decision. It will be good to interview the salesperson you decide to engage to determine if he/she is worth the service fees by assisting you to sell high and buy low, where your savings could be more significant.
