As ZhiWei has mentioned, a 3 bedroom unit in that area is not feasible for under $1mil at this point.
There are 2 possible compromises. Firstly, look further away from the city center, to areas like
Pasir Ris, SengKang, Punggol where new 3 bedroom units have transacted at below $1mil.
The second option is to go for certain resale projects in the geylang area, where prices can still be close to your desired range. This area is closer to town, and is a short commute from East Coast/Katong. Of course, we'll need to be selective on the projects to consider in this vicinity.
