If the household has not met MOP, the owners or occupiers will not be able to purchase another residential property. Does your decoupling refer to divorce? If so, both of you will need work on the court order for either part purchase or resale into the open market. Then the other party will be eligible to purchase their first property count without the need to pay ABSD (only applicable for SC).
