First of all, have you fulfilled the applicable minimum occupation period for your HDB flat?
If no, you cant go ahead with a private property purchase.
If Yes, please take the following into consideration:
you can purchase a condo under your name without your spouse but you have to bear that in mind that your loan quantum might not be large as only a single person's income is put into consideration and banks will take note of your outstanding HDB loan as well.
Thus the financial burden will be heavy.
