Hi,

To apply for EC from developer, your wife needs to sell away her private property and wait out a 30 month period before both of you can apply together. If its not feasible, you may want to consider getting a private property on your sole name instead and rent out her condo. This way the rental can service part of your new mortgage. Good evening buyer,

I am afraid to inform you that your wife has to dispose off her private property first and observe a waiting period of 30 months before both of you are eligible to purchase a new EC.

With the 2.5 years waiting period in addition to the EC construction period, this choice might not be ideal.

How come you guys are thinking of getting an EC?
