There are pros and cons for each, and there's no right or wrong choice. Only you will understand what you want, and what is the best option for you and your family.

Just to share more, I have clients who only wants to move in to a new home, they don't mind renting while waiting for their new home to TOP. Hence, a new launch would be more suitable for them.

I too have clients who don't mind a resale house, they prefer to purchase their own home and does not want to stay at a rented place at all. Generally, resale condos tend to be larger in floor area, and they can also also have more flexibility to renovate the unit to their own personal liking.
