Hi All, Im a foreigner rented a two years contract HDB unit which was terminated on the 7th month of our stay in the flat by the owner for a reason that breached our contract agreement. I want to know if is it legal that they won't give back our 2months deposit though nothing was damage nor we owe a monthly rental fee to the owner?

Afternoon,

If your landlord have terminated the TA within the agreed period of tenancy, you have the rights to ask for necessary compensation. Landlords are to return the deposit too, if all things are deem in good working condition. Contact your salesperson and ask him to help you out.
