Hi Agents, I want to sublet my HDB flat which I bought it at 6 months ago and I know hdb only allows the flat that is 5 years MOP to sublet it out. The reason is that is I always have to go back my parent's flat to take care of my aging mother who is sitting on a wheelchair and recently my father just discharged from hospital.

Evening, Based on your family situation, you can write into HDB and request for rental of your unit based on your parent's medical condition. Dear sir/madam, I am sorry to hear of your situation. As what Mike has mentioned, do write in to HDB to seek approval for your subletting. Alternatively, you may wish to bring your parents back to your place and sublet their place instead if MOP for their place is met?
