Hello would appreciate some advise. I rent out my HDB for 24 months to a PRC couple who are PR in singapore but in the tenancy agreement I allow up maximum 6 (including the tenant) occupants. As market is now depress, they wanted to increase occupants but I disallow.
- what is the legal recourse if I catch more than 6 staying at my premises.
- If they decide to forfeit the deposit and shift out before the expiry of the tenancy, can I sue them and get the full 24 months lease.
thanks

Hi, you do not have to sue, as long as tenant does not fulfill the complete tenancy period, you could just forfeit all deposit.
