Good morning owner,

I am afraid to inform you that even for subletting of bedrooms, either one of you must physically occupy the flat in order to do so.

If not, you can try to seek approval from your HDB branch office but approval will be on a case by case basis.

For SPR households, subletting of rooms require the owners to stay there. You can try to appeal to hdb branch for approval, it will be on a case by case review basis. Thanks and hope to assist with your housing plans further.

Afternoon,

For SPR HDB owners, you can apply for rental of entire unit, based on 12 months renewal basis. With company letter, you should be able to obtain the necessary approval for 1 year rental.

Sorry for the late reply as Propertyguru doesnt prompt me when there's any reply to my post.

I will still strongly advise you to seek approval from HDB branch office to rent out bedrooms or unit.

Because it is considered illegal for tenants to occupy the bedrooms without you physically not staying there most of the time.
