Hello, My place has been sold by my landlord and on the contract they have given me three months to move out. I have fortunately found a place and moving out in June.
My rental every month is due date is 28th. I have told the agent that I will pay prorated rent till 11th June as I move out to the new place.

However agent and landlord is adamnt that i have to pay full month rent even if i move out early. Please advise. Happy to share my contract.

The place I am staying I got via property guru.

It will be in your best interest to refer to the tenancy agreement signed to verify if you require to pay full month in such circumstances. In most cases, rental should be paid in full therefore your landlord and agent maybe right.
