Hello, i would like to know if it is possible for me to forfeit my tenants deposit as they have not completed full lease but they had informed me in advance they need to move out of the country and someone else will be taking over. Is this legal? Or am i allowed to forfeit their deposit as their contract lease date is not up yet and the one who signed the contract has already left, out of singapore. Many thanks.
