Hello,

I have to leave Singapore before my diplomatic clause can kick in, and my landlord is nice enough to allow me to look for a replacement tenant to take over my remaining lease, which is until September 2019.

Do I need to formally hire an agent to look for potential tenants, or can I just ask any agent to contact me if they have a potential tenant, knowing that I would pay the agent only if the tenant takes up the lease?

Hi Michael, if you are willing to engage and to pay an agent to assist you further, then things would be able to work out fast. Unless you have ways to find replacement tenant all by yourself.
