Hello everyone,
I have an opportunity and might move to Singapore soon. If I move, my work will be close to the Millenium hotel on Havelock Road. I would be looking for a 1Bdr, max 30 mins public transport from there (Bus or MRT). What do you think would be the monthly rent for a 1Bdr of an acceptable/good quality with these criteria? I thought about 2000SGD per month, do you think it would be ok?

Single bedroom rental within good vicinity of Havelock Road is likely going to set you back by minimum $2800. Most are still going for around $3200.

    Thank you for your reply. I just wanted to understand a little bit more about your reply.
    I had a little look at some properties and can find a 1Bdr apartment for 2,300SGD in Loft@Holland (just an example) which, as per Google maps is around 30mins to the Millenium hotel.
    Could you share with me what would be the difference with the suggested price you mentioned in your reply? Would that be a closer location? Maybe bigger size? Do I need to add something to reach to the price you mention?
