Having recently moved into an old but charming condo some issues have come up. The most significant was last week when the bathroom roof collapsed while I was in the bathroom. Thankfully I survived but we have had previous instances of a fitted wardrobe falling apart and general disrepair. The roof is a big concern as someone could have been seriously hurt. Contractors have examined the house and foresee more problems due to damp and mold which is unhealthy anyway. I have been in contact with my agent and she told me that I have no rights at all. I cannot leave and there will be no compensation for not having a bathroom and construction in the property. I have pictures of the damage which look really bad. Can anyone help. I would love to put her name and company up here but I don't want to ruin anyone's career.... The most damning thing she said to me was if anyone was hurt due to the roof caving in I was responsible (4months in the house)

Hi Anon

You have just mentioned that you are staying in a Condo right? So just need to go to the management office to clarify and sort out things with them.
