Grateful if any guru can clarify for me. Does the new absd for SC apply for second purchase or second property? If I sell my fully paid hdb first then buy condo, does it apply since it is my second purchase of a property but it will be my only property? Considered second property or not? Also, it was reported that we can appeal for concession. What are these concessions and would it be applicable in this scenario? Tks!

Hi SK,

It is applicable for the 2nd property you own. I have the full details in print regarding the latest regulations, how would you like me to send the details to you?

Afternon,

THe ABSD is applicable to number of property holding in hand, at point of purchase. If you are selling your current HDB unit to purchase the private property, you are only holding to one property. Concession on ABSD is only applicable to SC with SPR spouse, buying their first property as their matrimonial home.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
