Hi,

If you're looking at a net rental income of $2500 monthly, it'll be quite difficult. But if it's a passive income of $2500-$3500 a year after subtracting property tax, main fee and bank loan. It's possible to acquire one. However, it's easier to invest in a 99 year-leasehold unit for better rental income.

Hello Sir,

Two parts to your answer, for the investment quantum that you have, you CAN get a very decent freehold property without using any bank loans, thus the free cash flow generated from the investment WILL and DEFINATELY exceed the stated abouts of $2500 to $3000.

Secondly, as an investment, you may wish still to take a bank loan to leverage your investment, thus this allows you to get not just 1, but 2 freehold properties at least, thus possibly doubling your investment, and capital gains chances.

Please do not go into a 99 year leasehold project when you clearly have the option to go into if not 1, but 2 freehold projects.
